Everything is anonymous! Your username will protect you if you get an alert and need to contact the other person. When you fill out the relationship register form, you are not limited to your current relationships please include your past ones as well. Especially if you have some important alerts you want to give future suiters of your ex!
Remember people do change, and the aim here isn't to hurt anyone but to alert others from possible abuse or serial cheaters. You will receive an alert if somebody else registers their relationship with your partner.
