An Amber Alert was lifted on Sunday following the discovery of the bodies Latasha Jackson, 19 and her daughter, 1 year old Chaniya reported kidnapped the day prior.

Cleveland police issued an Amber Alert on Saturday after a mother and her 1 year old daughter was abducted at gunpoint while walking down East 72nd Ave in Cleveland. Latasha Jackson, 19 years old and her daughter, Chaniya Wynn were walking with Jackson's 14 yea old brother when Thomas Lorde, 25 approached them and pulled out a gun. 

The alert named Lorde as the kidnapping suspect, warning that he was a "violent sexual predator with felony warrants out of New York".

Police discovered the bodies of Jackson and 1 year old Chaniya on Sunday, unresponsive with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead on the scene. Lorde was found next to them, dead of an apparent self-inflicted  gunshot wound.
