amazing what capacity kids have to see things clearly; more clearly sometimes than the adult who has been emotionally distraught by negative life experiences.

I know what you mean from the opposite end of things. I have helped my mother through a lot of tough times dealing with men even my father who I love dearly. Its just one of those things families have to stick together and rough the the hard times as a unit. If we all pitch in when the chips are down no-one can stop us when things are going well.
